He has been Board Certified since 1981 in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Ridge practiced accounting as a CPA prior to attending law school. He is licensed as a Life and Health Insurance Counselor by the Texas Department of Insurance and a principal of Emeritrust Benefits.
